May 9th 2011 - Unusual (Day 84)

   Finished a simulator session today, and soon as I walked through the door, wife called on the phone and said "Go up to the roof and check out the sunset".

   I hadn't paid any attention to how clear the sky was on my way home, as the sun beamed from behind the buildings while it descends into the horizon.

   It's funny how much we take for granted in life, how we not see the beautiful things around us, and all it takes is just a little reminder to see how wonderful things are.
